Rhode Island Alarm and Systems Contractors Association
Important Message from RIASCA Executive Board
RIASCA Members:
We are in an unprecedented time in the history of our industry. The COVID-19 pandemic is a serious threat facing our country and the business climate in the State of Rhode Island. As a Board, we wanted to share with membership some information we have received in hopes it will assist you in navigating through this difficult time. We hope all of your teams and family members have remained healthy.
We are pleased to provide the following attachments for your information and continued awareness.
See Links Below
1. Release from the State Fire Marshal of Rhode Island in reference to Fire Inspections and Relief for Property Owners
2. A Small Business Disaster Resource Page for Assistance with Funds
3. Job Site Safety Practices
4. Building Officials Notice Release from State of Rhode Island
We also received notice from the Massachusetts Systems Contractors Association that they believe our industry to be classified as essential under the guidelines released by Governor Baker in reference to the non-essential business shutdown in Massachusetts.
If any member receives valuable information from either the State of Rhode Island or State of Massachusetts we would ask for you to pass it along to Linda so we can forward out to membership. The ability for us to communicate and help each other during this time will be important to the future of our group and our industry.
Stay Safe!
